LRSDTV is brought to you by the students of the Broadcast Media program at the Louis Riel Arts and Technology. The Broadcasting program is made up of students from LRSD high schools, students from across divisions in Winnipeg, students from outside the city, post secondary students as well as international students who want the opportunity to be a part of streaming events like the ones you see across this page.
What will you find here? Well honestly it could be anything! We cover all seven LRSD high schools, JV and Varsity basketball, volleyball, hockey and badminton teams. The next night we could be covering plays or concerts at a divisional grade school or even doing coverage of a trustee debate or divisional budget meeting. We strive to connect our community through the hard work and dedication of our students.
We also have our very own radio station that is created by students for students. Our students are the on-air personalities you hear everyday, they make the commercials and station ads and they make sure that the music you hear is not only great but appropriate in a school.
